Virginia’s daughter called Project Houseworks because her roof was leaking, and she couldn’t afford to have it replaced. When our program manager inspected her home, she discovered that Virginia needed to go down steep stairs to do her laundry in the basement. Project Houseworks replaced Virginia’s roof, moved her washer and dryer upstairs and made other minor repairs to her home.
Joseph and Nola
The front porch on Joseph and Nola’s home was in disrepair, creating a dangerous situation for them and their visitors. This prompted a call to Project Houseworks. When our program manager visited, she noticed a few other repair needs in the home’s bathroom and kitchen. These homeowners were pleasantly surprised at the number of repairs our crew was able to provide.
