What is Brush Up?
Brush Up is Project Houseworks’ annual fundraising and volunteer event. It is a heartwarming event where passionate volunteer teams come together to breathe new life into the homes of over 25 low-income older adults and their families in Douglas and Sarpy Counties! This rewarding initiative has made a difference since 1989, transforming houses and entire neighborhoods with fresh, vibrant coats of paint.
But it’s not just about aesthetics—Brush Up fosters a strong sense of community and teamwork among our volunteers, offering a unique and fulfilling team-building experience. Each year, we celebrate more than 3,500 hours of dedicated volunteer service, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those we help.
Together, we create more than just beautifully painted homes; we build stronger, happier communities. Get involved and be part of this incredible journey!
